Quietly Living at the End of it All
2020 - 2024
Quietly Living at the End of It All explores existentialism in tumultuous times. Through the portal of expired, found, and sometimes deliberately degraded film, the photographs reside within the liminal spaces of being.
As witnesses to late-stage capitalism, we confront the stark manifestations of our era: climate catastrophes, epidemics, the commodification of personhood, and the erosion of social cohesion. Yet, amidst this disarray, the photographs offer a sanctuary of meditative observation.
Quietly Living at the End of It All invites the viewer to embrace the tranquillity found amid turmoil and cultivate a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world we inhabit.
